Hi I'm Benjamin

I'm a trucker. My initials spell BUG, and I'm definitely a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the only kid in my family and I'm from Maryland. I LOVE seafood. I also enjoy ultimate frisbee, basketball, face-melting guitar solos, wierd 80s movies, camping and bike riding. I just finished serving as a missionary for 2 years in the great state of Idaho, and It was awesome!

Why I am a Mormon

Because, the Mormon/Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true! I have gained a knowledge of it's truth through prayer and study and testing God's commandments by living them. As I've done these things, God has reached out to me through his Holy Spirit and helped me to feel his great love for me, and he has given me peace and joy. He has confirmed to me that this is his church.

How I live my faith

I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ. Sometimes, I slip up, but I know that that is why Jesus suffered in Gethsemane and died on the cross, so that I can be forgiven of my sins. When I sin, I learn from that mistake and try extra hard not to do it again. As long as I do this, I am happy. I try to share with others the things that have brought me this happiness.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Benjamin
Families are everything! Societies are built on families. They are meant to last forever. Through the authority God gives to men, families can be bound together eternally. Jesus Christ has conquered death so that families do not have to be separated by it. Families will be together forever if they live the gospel of Jesus Christ and are sealed together in one of the Lord's Holy Temples! Show more Show less

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Benjamin
In the Temple, people who are active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints are baptised in behalf of their ancesstors who have died, they learn more about our Heavenly Father's plan for us, and they are sealed to their families for eternity. Show more Show less
