Hi I'm Josie

I'm a wife and mother of four trying to create beautiful life for my family, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I mostly identify myself as a wife and mother, being which fills up a lot of lovely time, but I also wait tables at a fine-dining restaurant. I love to create digital designs to share with friends. I craft, read, blog, and just plain like to fit in as much enjoyment into life as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised as a Mormon, I had to go through my own conversion process, the experience of which has brought my greatest joy. I feel so blessed to think in a world full of conflicting views and ideals, I have truth given to me from a loving Father in Heaven, this truth I can share with others. This faith is my anchor. The knowledge I have of a God and my Savior, and to feel their love, makes any trial bearable. I try to acknowledge that all things beautiful comes from them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church weekly, and by praying to keep in contact with Heavenly Father. I read scriptures to my children at bedtime. They love that time together and we talk about the things to learn from prophets in ancient times. I lead music in our Relief Society women's meeting. I feel music is one of the best forms of worship. Music can bring a beautiful spirit.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is very personable to me. We receive His spirit as a companion to us when we are baptized. He gives us the ability to feel the truth of things through a warm 'burning in the bosom.' He has comforted me many times in my life, and has even warned me of danger. Show more Show less
