Hi I'm Kandace

I grew up an "army brat" and loved it. My fav. place to live was Panama CZ & my family is my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mom, I have two beautiful daughters ten years apart, one about to turn 21 and the other 10 1/2, talk about starting over.. my family is everything. I am a supervisor for PWU. I write poems and short stories and love to draw, I always wanted to be a singer, only.. I can't sing..so my next passion was becoming a writer.. I'm still working on that.. lol.. . My mom was a major sports finatic, baseball and bowling were her favorites and so mine too.

Why I am a Mormon

Because the day I opened the door to the missionaries, I felt as if I was coming home, every question I had ever had was being answered and it was as if I knew the answers already. The day I was baptized at 30.;something ... I felt such a warmth in my heart and knew that I was home. I was raised in a Catholic/Protestant family but was given the agency by my parents to choose how I wanted to believe and I earnestly searched. I have always always known that my Father in Heaven was with me, watching over me and guiding me even before I knew anything about the LDS church. I am not sure why some of the things that happened to me in my life happened but I know that they were for a reason and all played a part in leading me to where I am now which is the best place I could ever be. I have never had a doubt that Jesus is our Savior and that we have a Father in Heaven, if I know nothing else, I know with all my heart that this is true. I found this out for myself by

How I live my faith

I live my Faith daily, that's the easy part. My faith is strong. I strive everyday to live my life in a loving, thoughtful, caring way. I try to treat everyone with respect, I am far from perfect and fall short a lot of times but I do my best everyday to be the best I can be. I currently work with the youth of our church and I love it more than I can say, we have such great kids in our church! I feel for them for the challenges they face in their day to day lives that is so much harder than anything I had to face when I was growing up yet, they continue to amaze me at how strongly they hold onto what they believe in and are such great examples. I know I learn way more from them then they ever learn from me. I have had a lot of great opportunities to teach and to learn. I love our youth, they are our future. I love our church and all that I have come to know. I love the scriptures and the comfort they bring me and the guidance I find when I search them earnestly for answers. I guess my first statement was the best, I live my faith by living what I believe in.
