Hi I'm Mary Ruth

After raising 7 children I have embarked on a career in frame gilding.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been very blessed with a wonderful husband who has been a great provider. This allowed me to stay at home with our children while they were little. A few years back it became necessary for me to rejoin the workforce. I was offered a job at a local art gallery where I learned a lot about art and frames from my fellow workers. I am now building and gilding the process of laying gold leaf frames - some of which have been placed in temples.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converts and moved to 'Zion' from England. I was born and raised in the church but witnessed my father bear a wonderful testimony every time he could. My father was blessed with visionary dreams and I grew up knowing God could reveal things to us in our dreams. When a much loved younger sister died I was blessed with a dream of understanding and testimony of the reality of the resurrection. I was only seven at the time but in my dream it was resurrection morning and my younger sister came back through the door to our house. We spent the day playing games with our mother and eating root beer floats. This was a dream a seven-year-old could understand, it was so vivid and full of joy I remember it to this day. I have had many other great spiritual experiences that have solidified my testimony of the great plan of salvation, but this was the first one I remember so clearly.

How I live my faith

I work with two men who are not of my faith but I have asked them not to use certain language in my presence. They have been very kind to curb their tongues, in return I try to be positive and keep our work environment relaxed and happy. I work hard to give my best to each project and to give my employer his money's worth.
