Hi I'm Shea

I am an office manager, husband, father, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I married my high school sweet heart after serving a mission in Vancouver Canada and we have 6 kids. My oldest is married and expecting our first grandchild, a boy. I was adopted as an infant by wonderful parents who raised me on a ranch in Northeastern Arizona where I learned to ride and work. I love to play basketball. I work in the propane industry managing an office after spending years driving a delivery truck. After 5 of my kids were born I went back to college and finally got my degree. I now serve on the school board in the district I went to school in and my mom taught for 30 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because first I was adopted by Mormon parents and they taught me to have faith in Jesus Christ. And second I am still a Mormon today because while believing the teachings all my life at the age of 20 I knelt down and prayed to God and asked if the Book of Mormon was true. He answered my prayer and since then my faith in Christ has grown through study and prayer. I have felt God's love often and know He lives.

How I live my faith

I love my family, my church, and my community. My family is very close, we do everything from work to play together and attend church together. I like being involved at church and have served in several different ways. I have worked with scouts, taught teenage kids in Sunday school, and have opportunities to work with the adults as well. I also have volunteered in the the community and am currently serving as the president of our local school board and find great joy in serving. The teachings I hear on Sunday not only encourage me to be a better Mormon but to be a better husband and father, and also a better member of my community.
