Hi I'm Clarissa

I'm a college student. I love soccer, being active and spending time with my friends and family. And I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending college and majoring in Exercise Physiology. I love being active and playing sports; mainly running, biking and playing soccer. I am the second oldest of 5 children in an ex military family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but that is not why I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I have asked the Lord in daily prayer and know that what I have been taught and learn each day is truth. When I have been faced with trials I have been comforted by the power of prayer and the knowledge that I have of the Holy Ghost. I am a Mormon because the standards and the values that I have been taught to live by are important to me and have brought me such incredible joy that I know I could not find else where. I can't imagine living my life any other way.

How I live my faith

Living in an area where there are not many members of the Mormon church for most of my life I have tried my best to live my faith by just being a good example to those around me and living my life how the Lord would have me live it.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Clarissa
The easiest way is through sincere prayer. As we pray we are building a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father and we can truely know he lives as we find answers to our prayers in ways that we might never have imagined. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Clarissa
Faith is trusting the Lord in all things. We must always strive to trust that the path that is put in front of us is there for a reason, and believe that we can get through anything with the help of our Father in Heaven by our side.  Show more Show less
