Hi I'm Paul

I am retired. I have a big family and love family gatherings. I also love to travel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently retired from a rewarding career in the construction industry. I have owned my own business as a speciality contractor in road construction. I have worked as an Engineering Technician for a city government where I wore many hats, including building inspector and code enforcement officer. I have a degree in computers. I have been happily married for over 40 years and have seven wonderful children. I also have 24 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, so far. I love college football and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

My wife introduced me to the missionaries forty-one years ago. In our first discussion, they taught me about the restoration of the Lord's church in our day. As the message was explained to me, I began to get a sincere feeling in my heart that this was true. Over the years, I have tried to live my life and rasie my family according to the truths revealed in this restored gospel. I have experienced many ups and downs in my own life as well as family and business relationships. Through all these experiences I have learned that if I put my faith and trust in the Lord, He will support me in my trials or troubles and eventually I find joy.

How I live my faith

I strive to put the first commandment first, love God. As I do, everything else seems to fall into place in my life. I read the scriptures everyday, especially the Book of Mormon. This helps me draw nearer to God. I make Temple Worship a regular part of my life because I believe this helps prepare me to go back into the presence of God.
