Hi I'm Rhett

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho with a degree in Psychology in April 2012. I minored in Geology. I served my mission in the Brazil Florianópolis mission from August of 2007 to July of 2009 so I speak Portuguese. I enjoy outdoor stuff like hiking, hunting, camping, star gazing, and the like. I like to read, hang out with my friends, and have fun. I am the third of four kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess I've always believed that but before I went on my mission I knew that I had to ask and know for myself and that's what I did. The answer came. I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true and is led by a living prophet of God. Since that's the truth, it only makes sense that I'd follow Christ's true Church here on the earth.

How I live my faith

One of the greatest joys I have is serving and helping others. I know what it is like to have people help you out and I enjoy helping others to feel that feeling through my service. It's one way I show my love and appreciation for them.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

On my mission in Brazil I helped out a lot more people than just Mormons. It wasn't just teaching them about the Church and Gospel of Jesus Christ: we helped people with many part of their lives overcoming addictions, gaining better relationships with family members, understanding that they are worth more than they thought they were, comforting them, and enriching their lives in other ways.
