Hi I'm Macay

I'm in my twenties but I like to crochet. I'm a not so fiery redhead. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young mother of an adorable 2 year old. She keeps me running all day long. And I have been married for 8 years to my high school sweetheart. He keeps me smiling all day long. I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in business. I use that knowledge everyday to run our home. But it is the knowledge I gain every Sunday at church that really makes my house a home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon. My parents had both chosen as young adults to be active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was blessed everyday by their decision. They taught me that families can be forever. They taught me to be honest and caring because our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have been loving and caring to us. They taught me all about the gospel of Jesus Christ. They lead by example. And in turn, I want to be that good example for my daughter. I am a Mormon because through the teachings of Jesus Christ, I have learned that there is a way back to our Heavenly Father. He didn't just sent us to earth without help. He has given us the Bible and the Book of Mormon so that we can learn to be more like him. So that we can have joy in this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. I try to be a good person, a good wife and a good mother. I read my scriptures and say my prayers. I teach my daughter to pray before dinner and at bedtime. I ask my Heavenly Father for help. And I know that he is there for me. I serve in the church. I have an opportunity to help my fellow members draw closer to our Heavenly Father each week at church. I love that this church is an active church. We learned from one another and we grow more each week by helping others learn too.
