Hi I'm Candice

I grew up mostly in France. Now I'm married and raising three beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In college I studied Economics and French. My husband and I got engaged on my graduation day and we were married a few months later. I worked as a research analyst for an economics legal consulting company and then quit when we had our first child. Now I stay home with my three kids and I love it! Some of my hobbies include playing the piano, cooking, reading, writing in a journal, skiing, playing racquetball, boogie-boarding and snorkeling, and gardening.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents and extended family are all Mormon. Growing up in the church I questioned our beliefs just as an investigator would, and I gained a testimony of our doctrine. I didn't just believe it to be true, but I felt it in my heart. The spirit has testified to me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I am meant to be a part of it-- to be strengthening my family and building the Lord's kingdom. I know that His church is patterned after the principles included in the Bible and that there is no other way that we can return to Him. I know God has a plan for each of us and I would be lost without the Church in my life.

How I live my faith

In my ward I serve in our women's organization. I help plan our Sunday meetings, including chosing songs and topics for study. I love to prepare lessons and teach at church, but the most important teaching I do is at home. Sometimes it's challenging, but every day I read scriptures and pray with my children. I teach them church songs and read to them from our Mormon children's magazine. I believe that the greatest contribution we make to the world is through our posterity.
