Hi I'm Max

I love four-wheeling, being outdoors, I love Boise State Football, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 6'1", I have brown hair and blue eyes. I am currently serving a mission in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin Mission speaking the Hmong Language. The Hmong language is one of the worlds most tonal languages and this works great for me because I seriously wonder if I am tone deaf most of the time when I try to understand what people are telling me. I enjoy 4 wheeling, sports, watching Boise State Football, swimming, cars, being with my friends and family and the outdoors. I also love to work, I have had many jobs over my life including Construction, owning a Lawn Care Business, Lube Bay Attendant, Landscaping, logging, and a detail tech.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I absolutely know that this is the Lord's true Church. I haven't experienced everything in life but I do know that without a doubt that this is the only place to find true and living peace and happiness with life. I am a member of the Church because this is where God has lead me. I know that He has a plan for me and that He knows and loves me. I know that this is the one true Church that Jesus Christ established and that Joseph Smith Jr. restored. I don't understand everything about the miracle of the Church and how it all works, but I do know that it is real that God's true power and Priesthood are here. I know its true, I know God lives, and I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real.

How I live my faith

I am currently living my faith by being a full time missionary. I love being a missionary it is one of the best things I have ever done especially for the Hmong people. They are an amazingly, kind, loving people. They are so nice. I can truly say that I love them to death. As a missionary I try to be as obedient to all the mission rules as possible in order to have the Spirit. Sometimes this means getting really weird looks from people when they see you at Walmart backing up a car out of a parking space, but I don't care because I know that true happiness comes from living at peace with yourself and with the Lord and obeying His Commandments even in the small things.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints does not endorse any political parties because political parties often change and above all we are given the gift of agency. We as members of the Church know the standards that we should be living by. We also know that we have a responcibility to be loyal citizens of our countries. God often expects us to learn and to make indepentant choices and then to learn from them. Show more Show less
