Hi I'm Brandon

I love playing sports, being outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from a little town in utah where I have lived my entire life. I played Football, Baseball, Wrestling, and Track and Field events, along with any other sport me and my friends could think of, because I love anything that I can do outside. I spent my free time with my friends going out hikin, huntin and having fires. I am, and always have been a die-hard fan of the Green Bay Packers. I'm on a mission but after I get back I am going to become an Athletic Trainer, an EMT or work for the wild fire services.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because of the many blessings I have seen in my life. I love knowing each day that I can have the help of Jesus Christ in my life to become more like him and the best person I can be. Also, the comfort that comes when life is difficult, from following the teachings of Jesus are the biggest blessing anyone can have, no matter what is going on, Jesus knows how we feel. I love living the gospel of Jesus Christ each day.

How I live my faith

Right now I am on a mission for the church. I have devoted two years to serving to help others come unto christ and feel his love more fully in their lives. Nothing is greater than seeing someone's life come in line with the teachings of Christ. Everyone deserves to feel the happiness the Gospel brings.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Brandon
Well, the purpose of this life is to have JOY!. The thing is though, many people don't realize there is a difference between joy and happiness. Joy is an eternal thing that will last, happiness is for now. Since we want joy, this life is to prepare to meet god by proving that we are willing to do all we can to return to him, by living his gospel, keeping his commandments and helping others at all times. The commandments don't stop us from doing stuff, but they actually give us a lot of freedoms, and I have learned that a lot by following them.  Show more Show less

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Brandon
So, this question has been asked to me many times while being on a mission, and yes the Bible is Holy Scripture. Before my mission I had studied the bible a little bit, but not very much. After finding out I would be serving in the southern states, "the bible belt" as some may call it, I decided I better start reading the Bible more. I have grown to love the bible and know that it is divine sacred scripture. I have read all of the new testament, and my testimony (something I know to be true) has grown in Jesus Christ and all that he has done for me. Right now I am reading the Old Testament and am growing so much. The Bible is definatley Holy Scripture, the word of God, and Testifies of Christ. Show more Show less
