Hi I'm Jordan

Life is awesome! I have come to know that happiness is a choice and that's why I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to Snowboard, Wake board, make/edit movies, listen to music, and the outdoors are sweet! I'm always ready to try new things! I love life, each day is an adventure! A journey to discover the answers of who, what, how, and why?

Why I am a Mormon

First of all I grew up in this religion. Though I really never payed attention in Church. Especially when it was early in the morning haha...When I came to to leave everything behind and truly find myself and what I believe, I have come to know that this is the truth! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have had many trails in my life as we all do and I have discovered by applying the principles taught in this Church, that no matter what your going through in life your not alone and you can conquer anything! How is this possible? Because when we understand God's plan for us our perspective and priorities in life change, we truly see whats important in life. We shape ourselves to the way God wants us to live. Our Savior Jesus Christ lives, and because He fulfilled the infinite and eternal sacrifice, known as the atonement, we can live with God in a state of never ending happiness. The eternal law of justice is satified when we do our Heavenly Father's will. Christ, The Great Mediator of all men pleads to the Father for us, God then applies mercy and our sins are forgiven. This is known to us all as Grace. We are all bought with a price. By keeping God's commandments, the beauty of life unfolds. We learn and grow by applying the principles of this Gospel. We all have the capability, and capacity to make a difference in the world as we work towards perfection walking the best we can in the path towards Christ, and being apart of this I've found joy in this life that actually lasts.

How I live my faith

Each day I strive to live my life by keeping the commandments the best I can. I love the doctrine of Christ, because through exercising faith In our Savior Jesus Christ we can be forgiven, and start over. I love helping others and sharing what has helped and blessed me in my life every time I get the chance. Why? simply because its awesome and everyone, needs it to gain peace and lasting happiness in this life and the life to come!

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Jordan
In simpilicity we believe, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God. We all as spirit sons and daughters of God before we came to earth we wanted to become like our Heavenly Father. As spirits we were presented a plan known as the Plan of Salvation. The only way we could recieve the fullness of life that Heavenly Father enjoys, was to come to earth, gain a body, and choose for ourselves to follow God's Plan. Its through our choices in life that will either bring us closer to God or further away. Discovering for yourself the purpose of your life expands when understood, the Plan of Salvation. God's purpose is to "Bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." (moses 1:39) Ours then would be to live our lives in conjunction with God's plan. In the beginning we all choose to follow God's plan and come to earth to recieve a body and be tested. It is now up to us to embrace this great opprotunity for us all to live life to its fullest, and use our short time in mortality to realize what matters most and do it! I have come to know through experience that when we live God's law, also known as commandments, life is so much better. Why? because when we do were passing the test! I'm so much happier when I know in my heart i'm living the way God wants me to and not what society portays is the "way to live". Life is and amazing gift, and knowing God's plan for me has brought greater love and joy then anything else this world has to offer. Show more Show less
