Hi I'm Joe

I live in Sacramento, I am an accountant and work a lot. I have a wife and four children and I am a mormon.

About Me

I love sports. I watch and play anything when I have a chance. I love baseball the most and miss it when it when the season is over. If there is a game on I am likely watching on on my tv at home. I am also a husband and father of four. Our kids drive us crazy most of the time but we love them anyways. This past year I passed the CPA exam, so I am working on the last steps to being licensed as a CPA.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon. Even thought this is all I have known it hasn't always been easy and I didn't come to understand everything that I believe know until I was about 18. When I graduated from high school I really had no intention of continuing to go to church. However I met some friends who were great examples to me and encouraged me to continue going to church. It was during this time that I truly discovered for myself how this is Jesus Christ's true church. I read the entire Book of Mormon for the first time and prayed for myself to know if it was true. From that time in my life to the present time I haven't changed in my feelings or beliefs that this is His church and that the Book of Mormon is an inspired book of scripture that is written for all of God's children.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving in the Stake Young Men's presidency. We help plan youth activities and help train youth leaders throughout the stake. I enjoy working with the youth of the church. I have had several callings and have enjoyed each one. One of my favorite activities that we do each year is the christmas tree fundraiser for the scouts. Each year I have volunteered my time and my pickup truck to help collect christmas trees to help raise money to send the scouts to scout camp.
