Hi I'm Tony

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, father, a navy veteran and a convert to the Church. I like to read, follow-current events, fish for King Salmon and run just for the pure enjoyment of it. I enjoy learning new things, working with my hands and gardening. I get great satisfaction doing little things to help my neighbor. I love to spend quality time with my wife and family, play with my children and take family road trips.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the Church by my best friend as a young teen and joined the Church in August 1984. I joined the Church because I took the challenge to read the Book of Mormon, to pray about it, and find out for myself whether that book contained the word of God. It only took a few pages and something within my heart told me that the Book of Mormon was true. That prompting was later confirmed through heart-felt prayers asking for a witness of truth. Over the years, the scriptures have become a great source of personal knowledge and inspiration in my life. To this day, I continue to receive confirmation that the Book of Mormon is in fact the word of God.

How I live my faith

I have come to believe that if I first seek the Kingdom of God everything else will fall into place. I strive to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and follow His commandments. In doing so, I have found that calling on my Heavenly Father in prayer to be an essential element to personal happiness and spiritual growth. My daily scripture study is also a tremendous source of knowledge and inspiration which strengthens my testimony of Jesus Christ. I love to go to Church to worship my Heavenly Father and participate in church activities, and support community service projects. I also enjoy teaching and I've been very fortunate to be an instructor in Sunday School.
