Hi I'm Boyd

I love my life. I love my family. I love this world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Clearwater, Florida. I have five brothers and sisters. All my brothers are boys, and all my sisters are girls. I also have two parents--one is a girl and the other a boy. I love them all. They are good to me and good to the world. They all busy themselves serving other people. I am married to Cheryl. She is a girl. I love that girl. She is my favorite miracle, but I have more miracles. Some of them are my children. Watching our older miracles transition into adulthood has taught me much about choice and accountability. We have two younger miracles. They play soccer, perform in band and piano concerts, and learn leadership skills in our local community's Coalition Against Tobacco. I don't seem to have much time for hobbies. But if I had lots of time I would learn more about music, craftsmanship of all types, science, math, and history. I live near Chiefland, Florida with lots of woods all about. When I'm not fighting off spiders, worms, and snakes I am adoring morning walks with nature, night time gazing at star-filled skies, and swimming in crystal clear springs. I live a charmed life.

Why I am a Mormon

I like knowing that life has meaning. I like knowing that families can be together forever. I like the feeling that I am wrapped about in the arms of mercy. I like knowing that justice will ultimately prevail. I like the big picture of eternity.

How I live my faith

I believe in my church. I believe it needs willing hands. I try to serve wherever and however asked. Currently I serve as financial clerk of my local congregation. I handle members' charitable donations and am continually impressed at their generosity. I try to live my faith at home. I want to always be good to my wife and kids. They deserve it. I try to govern my professional work in accordance with my faith. I hope that I am kind, and patient, and fair to my customers. I try to live my faith in my mind. I seek to entertain thoughts that help me be a better member of my community and the world.
