Hi I'm Brandon

I'm a Mormon. I am a pilot and enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy visiting other cultures and learning new customs and history.

About Me

I enjoy outdoor activities, was a scout growing up, and enjoy bikes of all types (motorcyles: dirt/street; bicycles: mountain/road). More importantly, I enjoy the teachings of our modern day prophets and find peace from their messages in the troubling times we face today.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I was taught these teachings as a kid and I have witnessed the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ in my older siblings lives and my own. I know without a doubt that my parents' efforts in raising us in a wholesome environment helped us avoid many heartaches in life. I try to read the scriptures and pray each day. It helps guide me and helps me increase my patience and understanding for the events taking place in my life and those lives around me. I know that the teachings of a modern day prophet and 12 apostles have been a HUGE blessing in my life over the past 30 years. They have helped keep me safe from the storms of life and I have been immensely blessed by a loving Father in Heaven. I want these teachings and eternal truths to be taught to my children and I hope that they will see the same value in them as I have seen in my life. I know they will be successful and happy in life if they do. I know it is my responsibility to teach them and nourish them so that they have a strong foundation to face the challenges of a tough world.

How I live my faith

I try to attend church each Sunday where we study the scriptures and discuss their application in our lives. It is a great way to decompress at the end of the week and start a new week fresh and ready to reattack another week! : ) I choose not to drink, smoke, or participate in unwholesome activities. I have found it to be a huge blessing in my life to avoid some very destructive habits (financially, physically, and spiritually).

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Brandon
The Mormon lifestyle is a great, healthy way to live. The church's teachings keep us safe from the evils of the world by avoiding drugs, pornography, and other harmful influences that surround us. Show more Show less
