Hi I'm Nathan

I'm an engineer. I'm a father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family comes first and foremost. I have 4 wonderful kids and a beautiful wife. We spend all the free time we have together. I enjoy working hard and helping others. Giving my time to others and my family helps me feel a sense of worth and I always hope it is making a difference. My job as an engineer is challenging as technology is always changing. I love to play the piano and enjoy all types of music. My wife is an operatic singer as well, so we spend lots of time together when the kids are asleep in a small room where we have a piano. I enjoy all types of outdoor activities and sports. Camping, water-skiing, hiking, tennis, soccer, are just a few of things I enjoy. To me there is nothing greater than to play a round of golf and go to a college football game during the fall each year..

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon has taught me to center my life around the Savior. This belief has guided me in all my decisions and made me a better person. How we treat one-another, going the extra-mile, and serving others, as well as many other simple lessons taught by the Savior are often encouraged and shared during church meetings and activities. I am a Mormon because I know the teachings of the Savior are true eternal principles and are important for me to live each day in order to be truly happy.

How I live my faith

I spend some time each day reading my scriptures. I always share my thoughts with Heavenly Father each morning and night. Prayer and scripture study both give me strength to make good choices and live a better life. I attend worship services often and I find that others beliefs in Jesus Christ strengthen my own and in turn it helps me to live my life in a way that I hope the Savior would be pleased.
