Hi I'm Mark

So thankful that I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the great outdoors and sharing it with my family and friends. As a father of four and a wonderful wife, I have many opportunities to share the world with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon in Salt Lake City Utah where one would believe it is easy to be a Mormon. Yet we still have our challenges and trials like everyone else. Also, like everyone else, we need to ask ourselves is this religion right for me and does it make my life better by being a part of it. I had a few spiritual experiences while growing up, yet I didn't realize that they were spiritual. Then when I was 19, I had the opportunity to go on a mission

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon brings me peace and happiness and gives me standards to live by so I can be a better person. They say that at work we should not talk about politics or religion, but I say bring it on. These are opportunities for open, genuine discussions about values and principles that guide us each day. Often times we talk about moral issues or honesty or other deep rooted values. So having these discussions allows me to share my thoughts on religion and what brings me happiness in this life.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

I truly love my wife and am so thankful to have her as an equal partner in raising our family. We have been married 16 years and like most marriages, it is a give and take relationship. Her strengths compensate for my weaknesses and vice a versa. We feel that our children who are being raised in a house with both parents who support and work together can create a place where love is felt and safety for our kids and their friends is abundantly available.
