Hi I'm Randy

I'm from California. I love family get-togethers and vacations.

About Me

I was born and raised in the Church. My father was not a member however my mother’s ancestors are Mormon pioneers. She was the one to encourage my sister and me to attend church with her. As a teenager it was difficult for me to gain a testimony of my own. My grandfather was an outstanding example to me as a young adult. My testimony continues to grow because of his example of the truthfulness of the Gospel. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big Disney fan. Our family enjoys the times we have spent going on Disney vacations. I love the wholesome, clean and family environment in the Disney parks. It all started when, as a child, my family visited Disneyland soon after it opened and I have been a huge fan ever since.

Why I am a Mormon

When I married and we started a family, I wanted to have the same priesthood in my home for my children that my grandfather had given his family. Our church believes that families can be together forever and family genealogy has been an important part of my life. Not only can I find and learn about my family members from the past, but now I can go to the LDS Temples and have those family members sealed together for eternity. The church has also helped me in preparing my home for emergencies and hard times. This has not only helped my family but has allowed me to assist my neighbors and friends during this recent economic situation. There are so many church programs that have blessed my life and my family’s lives as we serve the Lord and those around us.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and currently have two assignments in the church. In our church we volunteer our time in service to others. I enjoy my time working with those I serve with. My current assignments are mainly record keeping and secretarial in nature. In our home we pray daily and ask the Lord’s blessings on our family and friends. When there is a need I have helped with local humanitarian efforts. I just try to be a good neighbor and friend to those I have contact with and pray that my family, my home environment, and neighborly service and actions will be a good example of how I live my faith.
