Hi I'm Chris

I'm a father of two, a scientist and Chef at heart, and I work in the Monument industry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read fantasy and science fiction books. I am an eagle scout. I have a degree in business management. I have worked as the manager of a Deli. I now work as a sandblaster, helping people to turn their memories into memorials. I love to explain principles of physics, and relate them to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a loving husband, and the father of two terrific boys.

Why I am a Mormon

I started out being a Mormon because my parents were. When I was in high school, I started to wonder if the teachings of the church were really true, or if I just believed because of my parents. I began to study and pray in earnest, and the Lord answered my prayers. I am now a Mormon because I know that the Church is true, and that the Prophet is called by God to lead people back to Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church as the Elders quorum president, assisting the Bishop in caring for the members of our ward, and seeking out those in need. I also enjoy volunteering to help with the nursery during the week so that the ladies can get together. I enjoy doing service and striving to live in such a way as would please Jesus.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes Mormons are Christians. We love and worship Jesus Christ just as much as other Christians. The book of Mormon is all about a group of people who loved and worshiped Jesus Christ. I know that it is only through the Grace and Power of Christ that we can all be saved. Jesus loves me, and he loves you too. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

We believe that we knew each other as spirits before we were born, and that we will still know each other after we die. I can't imagine not feeling that people I am going to know for eternity are important to me. I love my family now, and I can only imagine that I will continue to love them in heaven.
