Hi I'm Lance

I have a beautiful wife and three adorable daughters. I'm a family man, an engineer, and a youth adviser. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Husband and Father, a Youth advisor, and a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer. I love to enjoy time with my family, take vacations once in a while, and learn almost anything I can. I enjoy music, exercise, the outdoors, and little bit of auto repair.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are Mormons, and raised me in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints , but I am happy to say that I believe that my personal convictions have grown and developed in my 32 years of life. I am an active Mormon because I know that it is in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that I can accomplish and receive the ordinances necessary to return to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ with my family. Also, being a Mormon brings me peace & happiness now, throughout this life.

How I live my faith

Along with daily prayer and scripture study, by myself and with my family, I also enjoy living my faith as I get to work with the young men in my neighborhood. We plan weekly activities that involve sports, service, and fun, and every summer, as a group, we get to go on a multi-day camp/high adventure. I believe that wholesome recreation in a respectful atmosphere strengthens our relationship with God and with each other, and in turn makes us more helpful members of society. My experience as a young man in church youth groups has helped me to be a better husband and father, and I hope to pass that on to another generation of young men. I also live my faith by daily trying to live as Christ lived. It's not always easy, but I hope that I represent the Lord well each day as I go to work and interact with others of God's children, and try to treat others as Christ would.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Sacred tithing funds collected from members are used to build more temples where members can receive saving ordinances, print teaching materials for Sunday classes and family instruction, and do many other things to help the Church run smoothly worldwide. Show more Show less
