Hi I'm Brandon

I'm from Mississippi, love being outdoors, I've never ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outside doing things like-hunting, fishing especially in the Mississippi river, ridin 4 wheelers, mud ridin in my truck, and alot of sports, mainly basketball, football and baseball. I also like to work on my truck and 4 wheelers. I like to hang out with friends on the weekends. I joke around alot, and try to keep a sense of humor about most things. I love my family and like to do things with them as often as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church all my life. But there came a time that I needed to find out if things were true for myself and not just because someone else said that they were. So I took my questions to the Lord because I knew that He could answer them. I prayed and got my answers that the church and its teachings are true. And the answers came in small ways through feelings of peace and comfort. I knew those answers were true because thats how the Holy Ghost helps us to know the truth of all things. Ever so often I pray again to know if its still true and I get the same feelings saying it is true.

How I live my faith

I try to help others whenever I can. There is alot of chances to help people where I'm from. I like the feeling that comes from knowing you've helped someone in need. I also helped in our church and was in the Sunday School program.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Brandon
We believe that our purpose here is to prepare to return to our Heavenly Father. We go through experiences here that help us to learn and grow. We have tools that can help us in this life- the Bible, Book of Mormon, our families, friends, and a prophet. He wants us to be happy while we're here so He's given us the Gospel to bless our lives and so that we can return to Him one day. Show more Show less
