Hi I'm Logan

I'm from Arizona, I love warm weather, sports, and music. Right now I'm studying Advertising at BYU and loving life!

About Me

I'm 22 years old and am going to BYU right now. I'm studying advertising and I love it. My favorite hobbies are guitar and drums, I love writing my own songs and advertising gives me the ability to be creative in my job, that's why it's so awesome. I also love sports a lot, playing and watching. My teams are the AZ Cardinals and Phoenix Suns. D-Backs are ok too I guess. I believe lifes difficult for everyone but if you view your challenges as stepping stones instead of barriers life can become a great journey.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church growing up, but I also worked very hard to know for myself if what I was being taught was true, by reading the scriptures often and praying every night, I was able to gain a testimony that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that we have a living prophet on the earth today, and that's why I'm a mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in lots of ways, in August of 2012 I got back from serving a 2-year mission for my church, since then I've continued going to church, participating in my ward, and having my own daily study of the scriptures and prayer. I also like to take time to meditate and listen to wholesome music each day, I feel like it helps me have a more desired perspective on life.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Logan
In the bible there is a scripture in the book of Jame's that says "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God" I believe that's how you can know if the mormon church is true or not. As a missionary I'm never asking anyone to just take my word that what I'm saying is true, I'm asking them to listen to what I have to say, do some studying on their own, and then prayerfully seek the truth from Heavenly Father. I know that anyone who honestly and openly seeks out the truth can find it, and Heavenly Father can let them know what is true through the power of the Holy Ghost. It's really up to us though to seek out that answer, and learn to recgonize it as well. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Logan
Mormons believe the Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead, the first two members being God and his son Jesus Christ. God and Jesus Christ both have bodies of flesh and bones but the Holy Ghost does not. The Holy Ghost is a spirit. It is through the Holy Ghost that Heavenly Father answers our prayers, we can recgonize the presence of the Holy Ghost and answers to prayers by paying attention to our feelings.
