Hi I'm Danae'

I'm a Mormon and wouldn't have it any other way!!

About Me

I am going to be 46 this year. I've been married to my Eternal Companion for 20 years. We are blessed with 2 daughters ages 18 & 14 and 16 yr. old son. I was raised in the Church by my maternal grand-mother but, was inactive from the age of 13 until I was 28. My husband became a member when he was 24 and served a mission when he was 26. We we're sealed as an Eternal Family in the Los Angeles Temple in 1992.

Why I am a Mormon

My Nannie took my 2 brothers and 2 sisters and I to Church when we were little. They stopped going in their early teens but I loved th special time I had with my grandmother and got baptized. As a child I followed the example of my grandmother and became a member because she was. After being inactive for 15 years and feeling the Spirit of a Missionary Couple who came to our home, I realized that I wanted us to raise our children in the Gospel. I am Mormon now because it is who I am, being a member of the Lord's Church is where I am supposed to. I had been without the Church for a large portion of my life and I would never wish to live without it!

How I live my faith

I try very hard every day to live a Christ-Like life. I'm not perfect and because the Savior is so forgiving, I am able to repent and be forgiven when I make mistakes. I think I do missionary work by being a good example of a faithful Mormon. We have a Christ centered home. I value my marriage vows and the responsibility to be a good mother to my children. I serve in Young Women's in my Ward. It is a blessing to be able to work with our beautiful, faithful girl's. I also give much of my time volunteering in my children's schools. Everyone I know knows I am Mormon so I work really hard to be a good example.
