Hi I'm George

My life has been so blessed because I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very happy husband and father of five sons. I was born and raised on a ranch in Montana and now live and work in Cincinnati. The most important lessons I have learned in my life so far are in my role as husband and father. I enjoy coaching my sons, evening walks with my wife, and working and playing hard. I enjoy photography and music.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child growing up in an LDS home, I noticed the love and concern my parents had for each other as well as thier children. Many of my friends at this time were seeing thier parents get divorced and feeling a lack of family love and unity. Several of my childhood friends told me that they felt better when they were in my home, that theu felt something diffeent there. I eventually learned that much of what they felt was the atmosphere of my parents living their religion. When I was a teenager, I was one of only a very few Mormons in my High School and I felt the pressure that comes from friends and peers to participate in drinking, smoking, drugs and other activities. I had to make a decision, so I decided that I had to know for myself if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was true. I personally read the Book of Mormon, followed the invitation to pray about it's truthfullness, and received an answer to my prayers that it was true. Since that date, I beleive that I am a better person, a better community member, a better employee, a better son, a better father, and a better husband because of my trying to follow the example of Christ in my life.

How I live my faith

I serve in my community congregation whereever needed, having enjoyed serving with both youth, and adults. I try and serve my city and community often with my family. I have a strong love of life, and always try to maintain a very positive outlook on everything I encounter. I think we indeed live in a wonderful world.
