Hi I'm Cameron

I'm a graphic designer, I love to travel, and I'm married to my best friend. I love being a Mormon!

About Me

When people ask me "Where are you from" I never know what to answer because I've lived in so many different places! No, I'm not an army brat, that's just the way life was growing up. It's a wonderful feeling to know that no matter where I live, the church stays the same. I'm kind of artsy and love being a graphic designer. I also love to host dinner parties. My favorite vacations are cruises. I love to travel with my husband. Our favorite trip so far was a church history tour. It was a seriously long drive, but SO worth it! My husband and I are a bit inseparable, so no matter where you see me, he'll likely be right there beside me.

Why I am a Mormon

In a world that can be so filled with discouragement and dispair, the gospel of Jesus Christ brings joy and happiness to my life. The church gives me guidance and direction and helps me to always strive to be a better person. I have read The Book of Mormon and know that it truly is another testiment of Jesus Christ. It was translated by the gift and power of God by a true prophet, Joseph Smith. I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven who knows me personally and hears and answers my prayers.

How I live my faith

I attend my local church every Sunday. I serve with the teen girls who live in the area by teaching classes and planning activities with them. I love my neighbors and try to be kind, courteous, and helpful to them in anyway that I can. I also work in the temple that is near where I live.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

Self-reliance and emergency preparedness are extremely important during the difficult periods in our lives. Difficulties can strike anyone at anytime. This can be anything from a natural disaster, to a death in the family, to unemployment or countless other problems. Being self-reliant and having emergency plans in place can greatly reduce the burden when such hardships occur. If we are NOT currently facing such difficulties, we can also be a great blessing in the lives of others. If our households are in order and the needs of our families are being met, then we are able to donate to charities and offer time and resources to help others in need, as there is always a need somewhere. It’s such a great feeling to help others in need and to know that you are able to do it! Show more Show less
