Hi I'm Zack

I'm an athlete, a performer, a music lover and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Well to let you know about me my name is Zack! I am from Southern California, I am the oldest of three brothers and I love my family with all my heart. I was able to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the Virginia Richmond Mission and I loved every moment of it. To get to know me I like to do a lot of things. I LOVE sports. In fact my family has been known to call me obsessed with football and rugby. I love being able to go out on a field to compete, have fun and show people what I can do! I also love the opportunity that sports give to be able to make friends and "life-teammates" that you can really relate with. I also really love music. To me music is the ultimate expression of emotion, feeling, and other things you just can't express in any other way. I love to just be able to really just be still and let music either calm me down, make me happy, or just go into my own little world to think. Also I am a big musical theater fan and I love to be able to sing, dance, and perform to just have fun and express myself. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It truly has been one of the greatest blessings that I could have ever asked for and I am so grateful for its guiding principles in my life. It has also been a huge blessing to my family to see how it has been able to keep us together and strong. Other than that I just really like to get to know people, hang-out and have fun!

Why I am a Mormon

Because it's true. Plain and simple I know that it is true and that it's the path that my Heavenly Father wants me to be on to return to Him. I have studied, prayed, and asked God to know of its truth and I have had so many witnesses that it is true that I know that this is where I need to be. I don't know where or who I would be without the guiding principles that the Church gives. I know that God lives. Jesus is the Christ. Joseph Smith was called as a Prophet in these last days to restore God's true church on the Earth today and the Book of Mormon is the evidence of these truths. If you have any questions comments or concerns just pray and ask God and He will let you know.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? One day at a time! Gordon B. Hinkley once said "Our lives are the most meaningful expression of what we believe." I just do my very best every day to be the best person I can be and ask God to help me with the rest. I am far from perfect but I know that as long as I give it my best effort God will help me stand taller, reach higher and become better than I ever thought I could be.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Because they never really take the time to get to know about it. Pretty much all concerns come because they don't realize that we are just Christian people and that because we believe in abiding by certain standards that the Lord has set out. These standards make us a little "different" from everybody else. There is nothing bad, secretive, or scary about it. Show more Show less

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

YES! It is probably one of the greatest messages that ever could be heard. Through the Priesthood authority of God families are able to be sealed forever. This is very beautiful to me because my Dad was not always a member growing up. But when I was about 5 or 6 he made the decision to join the Church through baptism and to go to the Temple to be sealed as a family. It is a day that even though I was young I can still remember vividly. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father giving us the opportunity for families to be together forever. To know that nothing will ever be able to separate me from the love of my family means more to me than words can express. I love my family so much and I could not imagine heaven without being with them. I am sure of the promise given by the Savior in Matthew 16:19 that by the Priesthood authority "whatsoever thou shalt bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven..." Show more Show less
