Hi I'm Rockwell

I hit the streets every day. I'm a musician, I'm a skateboarder, and I'm a Mormon. Lets be homies!

About Me

I'm a green-eyed desert boy. My family means the world to me! I have an outstanding brother and three lovely sisters. I'm the baby of the bunch. My parents rock! Without them, I wouldn't be here today. Seriously though, I wouldn't. I also enjoy having 13 nieces and nephews. I love to play my trombone, rock out on my drum set, and I love to skateboard! I love to listen to ska music and hang out with my friends. I enjoy the occasional walk on the beach, and a romantic candle-lit dinner. I also love preaching the gospel and being a missionary in Boston Massachusetts!! It is the best thing that I have ever chosen to do. I love it. Also, watch out for my new band: 4 Elder Apartment! Coming your way in 2013. We're going to sing and play about how awesome it is to be a missionary! Stay tuned!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church, and I have loved it ever since I was little. At first I lived the gospel because that's how I was brought up, although I did understand that it would bless my life. But the reason that I continue to abide by the teachings of the gospel is because I have received my own personal witness that it is true, and I know that the gospel is for all of God's children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to keep my eye single to the glory of God, and constantly align my will with the will of God. Oh, and I also live my faith by being a full-time missionary in Boston, Massachusetts! I teach people about the gospel and invite others to come unto Christ, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. I love this difficult task, and I love seeing others progress! I truly have never been happier in my life.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Rockwell
Mormons do believe the Bible, as long as it is translated correctly. We believe that the Bible and the Book of Mormon support one another in testifying of Christ and His love for all people. Show more Show less

What is the Law of Chastity?

Rockwell
The Law of Chastity is a commandment of God that members of our church follow. We do not engage in any sexual relations before marriage. We believe that following this commandment will save us from pain, sorrow, regret, and even heartbreak. If by chance, someone does break the Law of Chastity, they can be forgiven and fully healed through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Rockwell
Yes indeed! We accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour and worship Him as such. Keep in mind, that our Church is called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. See, it's all in the title. Show more Show less
