Hi I'm Robert Patterson

I aspire to be a skydiver and physical therapist. I love sports. I don't like riding camels and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Pocatello, Idaho. I move to Grand Junction when I was very little and grew up there. I grew up with a decent size family of 8. I am the youngest, my brother is the oldest, and 6 sisters in between. They mean a lot to me. I love the outdoors and sports. Snowboarding, b-ball, soccer, hiking and skydiving. If friends are with me, even better. One of the things I love learning in church is how we should always be striving to be the best in whatever we do. Some of the things I want to do my best in is to become one hit wonder musician, comedian, a guinness book of world record holder, and an olympian for Curling (It's tougher than it looks). I did a year of college for athletic training to become a physical therapist, and now I am currently serving in the Arizona Tucson Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with 7 siblings and we are all still close to this day. I believe that the church was the only way for that to be possible. I have also notice many blessings in my own life through the influences of our leaders and parents. We all face our own trials in life, but it is through knowing Jesus Christ and that his gospel is restored back to the earth on how we can overcome these hardships. I've seen it in my life, the life of others and I know it can help you.

How I live my faith

Right now I am currently serving a mission for my church to help others find the same happiness I have found. I love helping others out and that is the cause for many of the things I like to do. That's why I want to be a Physical Therapist, that's why I enjoy serving a mission.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Robert Patterson
Baptism is a sacred ordinance of God, so it is important that worthy people perform it. Why are referees the only people to call a penalty or foul during a game? Because they were given the authority by the proper people. If everybody was to referee a game, there would be a lot of arguing, chaos, etc. Imagine also if everybody was aloud to have the same authority as police officers did. It is important that people are qualified to do such things. Show more Show less
