Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a cellist. I love talking to my best friends on the phone. I'm optimistic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college graduate in Cello Performance. I grew up on a cattle ranch. I love to run, jump rope, bowl, shop and spend time with my family. I am a creature of habit. I eat a peanut butter and honey sandwich every day. I am a working professional in D.C. I am a Texas Longhorn.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love the feeling of knowing who I am and what my purpose of life is. I have been Mormon my entire life. I have seen the blessings that come from applying the teachings given by the Savior himself through the scriptures, and the prophets of old and today. I love knowing that God is the same yesterday, today and forever! I love knowing that there is one thing constant in our crazy world, Jesus Christ. The restoration of the gospel has impacted my life in every aspect. I am without a doubt the person that I am today because of the Book of Mormon. The strength that I receive from it's pages doesn't have a price. I am Mormon because I am in desperate need of the guidance that comes from the prophet, Thomas S. Monson and the other apostles called by God. I am Mormon because I love my family and I am so happy to know that I can have an eternal family. I am Mormon because of the knowledge and love that I gain and feel from my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. I know that they live. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and that my Heavenly Father has my best interests in mind.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best example that I can be. Whether it be in simple ways such as being happy and friendly, or serving in my church callings. I just got home from serving a full-time mission, and I can say without a doubt that when we are serving others, true happiness is felt. Right now I participate in the ward and institute by showing up. Way simple right? I get involved, have fun, meet others, and enjoy the social life which the church provides.
