Hi I'm Kyle

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Above all, I'm a husband and a father, and I do my best to make sure I live my life with these roles as my priorities. I grew up in Wyoming, went to school in Utah, and went to law school on the East coast. Now, I live in Texas with my wife and two children.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because everything good in my life comes from my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and my faith in God, and I know that real happiness now and forever can result only from doing the will of my Father in Heaven and of His son, Jesus Christ.  I know that my Father in Heaven and his son, Jesus Christ, love me and know what is best for me and my family, and they have a plan that gives me purpose in life and assures me that my family can be eternal.

How I live my faith

My responsibility in my local congregation is to focus on sharing the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone who will listen so that others can enjoy the happiness and peace that I have been blessed with. I also am assigned to visit each month and watch over several families in the congregation so that they have someone to reach out to whenever they need help.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Kyle
I think everyone has been disappointed with themselves at one time or another in their lives, whether because of harsh words spoken to a family member, a bad choice, giving up on reaching an important goal, or some other serious or trivial mistake. This kind of disappointment is natural because all of us have such great potential. I know that each person is a child of God, and this means that each person has divine nature. In other words, we all have the potential to become like God is. We need the Savior, Jesus Christ, because he has the power to help us overcome all of our sins, mistakes, and weaknesses to become the person we hope to be. He only requires that we trust him, repent of our sins and mistakes, and follow him by living the way he has asked us to live. When we live our lives according to God's plan and the Savior's example, we can be truly happy and fulfill the purpose of our lives.  Show more Show less
