Hi I'm Dan

I'm into translation process and technology, I've got a great family and friends, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married with three beautiful daughters. I work in the IT and Translation industries. When I get some free time, I like to do things with my family or take care of my yard or do a little woodworking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, but about the time I turned 12 I began to wonder if what I was being taught was really true. I had been taught that if I were to study things out in my mind and then ask God if they were true, I could receive a confirmation of truth from God through the Holy Ghost. So I did that. And I received the promised witness. Since then, I've had many, many experiences that have reinforced and added to that initial testimony. It is comforting to know that what I believe comes from and is confirmed by the source of all truth.

How I live my faith

I believe that God wants us to love him and our neighbors. To me, that means service. I try to be helpful in any way I can, wherever I am. I try to view my employment as service, the the added benefit of receiving compensation that allows me to do more. Church provides additional service opportunities. Right now, that means providing spiritual leadership to a congregation of about 350 people. When that opportunity changes, it might mean teaching a class of 5-10 four-year-olds about Jesus Christ and his gospel. There are needs all around, including right at home. Trying to do what Christ would do if he were in my place is a constant challenge with great blessings.
