Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon. I enjoy Photography and riding motorcycles.

About Me

I was born in the MidWest of the United States, Go Big Ten. Growing up we moved a few times. I have lived up north where there is a tremendous amount of snow and all the way down south, that is where I attended High School. The South is Beautiful with endless sunshine and magnificent sandy beaches, however, lots of bugs. After High School I went to college for 2 years and then spent 8 years in military. When I left the military I pursued a career in the IT field. In 2004 I developed a love for photography. I was baptised in 2007. Today I am ready to bare my testimony. I now live in the same city I was originally born and I am attending school for Photography. I drive a Harley Davidson. I build computers. My parents are still Episcopalian but we have a great relationship. My father died last year (2013) and it has been very difficult for everyone in the family especially my mother. There were many things that he and I were still going to do together. I am Grateful and Proud to be a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Its very simple to explain why I am mormon. I was raised Episopalian. It never felt right. When I was in High School I became best friends with a Mormon. After twenty years of friendship, he invited me to investage the Church. I met the missionaries and they gave me The Book of Mormon. They asked me to read and then pray. Words cannot describe the feeling I felt when I prayed. I know I am in the right place today. I know The Church of Jesus Christ is true.

How I live my faith

I go to church and read the scriptures. I have a wonderful relationship with the missionaries of my ward. They visit me two to three times a week. I have turned my will and my life over to the care of Heavenly Father.
