Hi I'm Sue

I commute to work on a ferry, enjoying the glimpses of whales, mountains & the time with my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an early riser & love to take a walk, before catching the bus. I'm away from home for about 12 hours because of the commute but I sure love getting home in the evenings & weekends to spend time with my husband and mom. We have adult children: they all have jobs, some are in college, and some are married & have children! I get excited when we video chat with the kids or either of our little grand-daughters.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel Jesus Christ's love as I pray to express gratitude or ask for relief from problems and worries. I gain confidence in His love by reading the scriptures. I'm a Mormon because of the Priesthood authority of a prophet and those ordained to baptize, give the gift of the Holy Ghost, & marry. These ordinances will be recognized by God.

How I live my faith

When I'm at church - I'm worshiping Jesus Christ and trying to help the young children to do the same. Through teaching, friendship and encouragement I help them learn what is taught in the scriptures and how to apply it in their lives.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Sue
Temples are quiet, sacred and an integral part of the LDS faith, providing members the opportunity to participate in religious ceremonies, such as marriages and baptisms. They typically open early in the morning and quietly operate throughout the day. Closing times vary with locale, however, temples do not operate into the late evening hours. Temples are closed on Sunday. Show more Show less
