Hi I'm Len

I'm a software test guru, I'm a father of five and now a grandfather, I love sports, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father with an awesome wife and five wonderful kids, a great son-in-law, and a grandson. I work at Hewlett Packard and am responsible for testing and quality of LaserJet printers. I play tuba in the HP Holiday Brass Band, enjoy war movies, and hate to exercise but I do it anyways, 2-3 times per week. I love traveling with my wife and children. I am also an avid BYU sports fan and keep up regularly on the football and basketball teams -- in fact, I live almost 400 miles away from Provo yet I get season tickets for football every year!

Why I am a Mormon

I have known that the church is true ever since I read the Book of Mormon as a teenager. The Spirit confirmed to me that the book was indeed scripture, and is another witness of our Savior Jesus Christ. I continue to have experiences where I feel the Spirit which confirm to me that this is Christ's church.

How I live my faith

Even though I work full time at Hewlett Packard Co., I have another almost full-time job. I am an executive secretary for our stake president, who is the leader of 9 congregations consisting of approximately 4000 church members. I set up appointments, create agendas for meetings, manage communication to various local congregational leaders, and do just about anything else asked. Although there are no paid positions, my work really is ministering to our church leaders, and in reality takes the place of things such as playing golf. I go to church on Sundays, but do my service nearly every day just to keep up with everything that needs to be done. I keep a positive outlook on life, because that's how my Savior lived His life.
