Hi I'm Cami

I grew up in Utah. I'm a student studying teaching social sciences. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah in a family of five girls. One of my sisters also happens to be my identical twin. Life with four sisters was crazy at times but a whole lot of fun. I'm currently attending college to become a teacher. I love learning and helping others. My husband and I got married almost a year and a half ago. We love life, the color blue, and the combination of peanut butter and chocolate.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family and the testimony of my parents played a large role in why I went to church for a long time. I started to gradually gain a testimony of my own my freshman year of high school. I can't pinpoint one major experience that made my testimony, it was really just all the experiences that added up until I realized that this church was true, and that I did know that the Book of Mormon was the word of God, translated by the prophet Joseph Smith. Studying the scriptures, saying my prayers, paying tithing, these things brought me peace and happiness that I could not find anywhere else. I have felt Heavenly Father's hand in my life, strengthening me and comforting me time and time again. I know that He lives and that He loves us. I'm grateful that I have had the gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

My husband and I read our scriptures and say our prayers together each night. We also try and attend the temple regularly. This has brought great blessings of peace, comfort, and strength to our lives. My husband is currently serving in the bishopric of a singles ward.
