Hi I'm Amy

I'm a Mormon. I ran a balloon business out of my home for 21 years in Claremont, CA.

About Me

I love to quilt, travel to visit family, publish books, crochet, swim, walk, listen to good music, read, do temple work, service projects, watch movies with my wonderful husband and play with my grandchildren. I am glad when I get the chance to do a project and finally accomplish a goal. Like compiling my mother's recipes into a cook book....I completed this past year! Yeah! Or publishing a book of memories for a relative...wonderful treasures. I am a student of American Sign Language and find it to be quite a challenge.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born and raised in a wonderful Mormon Family. I felt joy in my life as I lived the principles of Christlike behavior. I studied the gospel for myself and prayed for answers to my questions and know that Jesus is the Christ and that we have a loving Heavenly Father. I live what I believe to be a Christlike life as set forth in the scriptures. I appreciate the peace and harmony in my life as I continue to live correct principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the Church in my life.

How I live my faith

I strive to build each day on the foundation of personal spiritual fuel. I begin the day with personal prayer and study the scriptures to invite the companionship of the Holy Ghost in my life. I also appreciate my marvelous husband that loves the Lord and leads our home in righteousness. We plan our lives around service to others and enjoy the time we have together. Our lives are busy but it is a very good busy.
