Hi I'm Morgan

I'm a nature-lover. I'm a wife. I'm a pianist. I just graduated in psychology. I'm a book worm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just recently graduated from Brigham Young University and am exploring the field of social work. I love working with people, especially children. My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary this past summer. Marriage has been the greatest teacher and greatest blessing in my life. I love to read! Ever since I was a kid, my favorite past time is curling up on the couch with a good book. Another thing that I love to do is hike. Any chance I get to visit one of America's national parks is an exciting time for me. My favorite is Yellowstone. Nature fills me with so much energy and gratitude for life. Music does a very similar thing for me. I have been playing piano since I was six years old. I am a real nerd when it comes to classical music. I rock out to it.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this church is the true church of Jesus Christ. I have had this confirmed to me through personal prayer and communication with God. Whenever I hear our prophet speak or read from the scriptures, I feel peaceful and know that I am where God wants me to be. I have felt the power that comes from the priesthood authority that can be found in this church. My knowledge of this gospel has come gradually over the years ever since I was a small kid. I remember one day sitting in my children's Sunday School class while we sang about Jesus. I felt a powerful feeling of God's love for me. With it came the desire to be like Jesus and serve Him. That is ultimately why I am a Mormon. I love my Heavenly Father. I want to follow Christ and become more like Him. I want Him to change my heart and make me pure. And I know that through my faith, He can do it.

How I live my faith

I play the organ every Sunday for our congregation. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to express my love for my Savior through music. Whenever I get the chance to practice the organ, I feel the special peace that comes from sacred music. I also strive to follow Christ's example of service. Simple, everyday acts of kindness are powerful. They allow the people we come in contact with to feel God's love. God often uses us to answer His children's prayers. I hope that I am someone He can rely on to go to one of His sons or daughters in need.
