Hi I'm Lynn

I'm a wife, a mother and a gramma and I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, also known as a Mormon.

About Me

My family really didn't have a church that they attended so I usually went to different churches along with friends and neighbors then I joined the LDS church my senior year of high school. Over the years my kids went to church with me but then as they got older they've been less active, as was I for a while. Life got pretty tough for a bit and the spirit made me realize that the only way I was going to make it through the rough times was to return to church. It was tough returning but I've stuck with it and am so blessed! Every day is a new experience and I welcome each day only if the Holy Ghost is by my side. I pray, I read my scriptures and attend church each Sunday to be recharged for the following week. Everyday I thank my Father in Heaven for every single moment I have with my husband, my children and my grandchildren that "rock" my world!

Why I am a Mormon

I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that this is the true church of Jesus Christ! The week before my baptism I started having a recurring nightmare that I was running, trying to escape horrible people and things that were trying to get me and do who knows what. I kept running and running and the landscape around me began to narrow and the terrain became steep and rocks were all around, like a ravine. I tried to scramble up the embankment while the scary world was closing in on me....I reached for the top of the steep slope and something grabbed my hand, I would wake up thinking they had me! Many times I had this dream.....A few days after my baptism I had the dream again only this time at the end of the trail, when I reached once again for the top of the slope the hand grasped mine and I finally looked up to see the face of my beloved Savior, Jesus Christ! That was answer enough for me and I never had the dream again. Oh how I love my Savior!!

How I live my faith

I pray, I read my scriptures and I fill my spiritual cup by attending church every Sunday. I am a Visiting Teacher and love to visit the sisters assigned to us. It's such a blessing to be in the presence of such awesome sisters in this gospel and to assist them if they need anything. I also have visiting teachers who visit me and have become my very close friends.
