Hi I'm Amber

I grew up in Utah. I love to help others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a junior in college and working on earning a Bachelor's degree in both Finance and Accounting. I love to sew and go bowling. I have participated on the bowling team at my University for the last three semesters and traveled a lot for tournaments. I love to travel with familiy and friends. It's nice to get out and see what is out there in the world!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am the only LDS member in my household. Growing up we lived in front of an LDS church and I was always curious as to what went on there. I started attending with different people from the neighborhood and greatly enjoyed it. When I told my Grandma I had decided to get baptised in February of 2010 she revealed to me that when I was little I would always tell her I was going to get baptised when I turned 8. That never happened however, because my father was and still is against the church. When we moved from our neighborhood to a new one I stopped going to church because I didn't know anyone around us and was afraid to attend by myself. About 2 years ago I started dating a boy in high school who was LDS. One day he invited me to attend church with him and his family. I accepted the offer and absolutely loved it! After attending for a few months I decided it was time to take action. I told him I wanted to get baptised and he and his family did everything they could to help and support me through the process. I continued attending church with them and would go to their house for the missionary discussions. The days of my baptism and confirmation were so full of the spirit. It felt wonderful to finally become the person I had always wanted to be. It has now been a year and along the way I have received my temple recommend and Patriarchal Blessing. They have both been wonderful experiences in my life and I encourage anyone to take the opportunity to enjoy these blessings in their life. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I know Joseph Smith is the prophet who restored the gospel and that President Monson is our living prophet today. I am thankful for the wonderful blessings I have recieved in my life and I say these things in the name of thy son Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by consistently attending church and participating in the opportunities I receive for being a member of the church. I faithfully read my scriptures daily and ask my Heavenly Father for his help and love.
