Hi I'm Cody

I love Tennis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I love tennis and I love my wife. I must say I am an avid TV/Movie watcher and I love to eat cheesecake. Steak would probably be my favorite type of food because it is delicious! Also, I love the Dallas Mavericks!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were members of the church. I grew up not really questioning much about the church and i kind of just cruised through life without any cares or problems. It was when I went on a mission to Scotland to teach about this gospel that I really began to question what I had been taught. I didn't really doubt, but I had questions come up in my mind that I had never thought about before and I needed answers. Every question I had I asked God about. Each time I did I had an answer come in various ways. I always found an answer though, which was such an amazing feeling. I still continue to do the same thing and continue to learn and understand more. I love this gospel and have really seen the blessings of living it in my life.

How I live my faith

My wife and I have the opportunity to attend a place called the temple each week. We feel so much peace when we go there and are encouraged to invite other members of the church to go with us. It is a great experience to help others because when we go to the temple we receive more blessings than if we had not. It's so amazing to feel the love of God and know He is watching out for my family!

What do Mormons believe happens after we die?

Each of us will be judged according to how we were in this life and if we obeyed the gospel. There are 3 kingdoms in heaven that we can go to depending upon our actions here. However, not everyone gets the chance to know or live the gospel in this life so they will get a chance after this life to accept the gospel and can obtain the highest kingdom in heaven still. It would not be fair if God just disregarded someone because they happened to be born into a situation that didn't allow for them to learn the gospel. Show more Show less
