Hi I'm Camille

I'm a mom, a piano teacher, a runner and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 30 years old and am married with three beautiful children. I enjoy running and exercising, playing the piano, reading, cooking, and playing with my kids. If I lived anywhere near mountains I would also love to ski again! I grew up in Washington State, and miss the green and the cool weather. Texas is HOT! I stay at home where my two youngest keep me on my toes, and I also teach piano lessons. My oldest daughter, Emily, was born with a rare chromosome disorder and after a very hard but very wonderful 4 1/2 years, passed away due to complications with her condition.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I have come to know for myself the truths of the Gospel. Because of my belief in Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, I know who I am. I know that I am a daughter of God. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, his sacrifice and ressurection, I will be able to live with my Savior again. For me, it gives me peace and comfort that I will also be able to live with my daughter, Emily, again. I know that even though she did not have a perfect body while she was here on Earth, she has a perfect spirit, and that one day her spirit and body will be reunited in their perfect form. I know that even though this life is very, very hard, someday we will have understanding. I have received many answers to my prayers as I've prayed, read the scriptures, and gone to the temple and discussed my problems with my husband and family. I'm very grateful to know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers!

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to serve the women of the church in the Relief Society program, the world's largest organization for women! I love getting to know different women-there is so much I have to learn! I am also grateful for the visiting teaching program. I have the chance to go with a friend to visit several other women from our church, in their homes, and get to know them and their families better. This has also blessed my life as women have come to visit me.
