Hi I'm Kenny

I'm a student, I love to make music, I'm a brother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from an average size family of five peeps! I have two younger sisters, both of which I love very much! I'm originally from Hawaii, but I grew up in the exotic state of Idaho! I served a mission for the church in the North Carolina Raleigh Mission, the best mission in the world! I love to make music with my family and friends. Sports is a must in my life! I love being active in things and getting my hands dirty. I'm a college student, almost graduated! There's not much that I don't like to do! I try to find the joy in the little things of life because life is just too short to not pay attention to them, you know?!

Why I am a Mormon

You know, when people ask me this question, it always makes me stop and really think, "Why AM I a Mormon?" The answer that I always come to is because I love my Savior, Jesus Christ and God, the Eternal Father. I love to serve them and their children, my brothers and sisters. As different as it may sound to the world, one of my favorite things in life is just learning more and more, as much as I can. In the gospel of Christ, it is taught that we can have all that the Father has if we will follow His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. Having everything that the Father has means that we will have what He has: eternal progression! The doctrines of the gospel of Jesus Christ are never changing and everlasting. They are what permanently holds me to Him and the Father, and what holds families together if taught in the home. Converting to the gospel of Jesus Christ is not an easy process to go through. I have not even gone through the process in its entirety, but I am pressing forward with faith in Christ. The standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are what I know to be in perfect harmony with the doctrine of Christ. I know the people aren't perfect, but the gospel which we strive to follow is. That is what keeps me going. Daily scripture study and prayer is a practice of mine, kneeling before the Father to commune with Him, petitioning for His divine help and assistance through my trials and afflictions. He is there. He has sent His Son to the earth to make it possible for us to return to His presence. The Book of Mormon is what I know to be the word of God, in harmony with the word of God that we read in the Holy Bible. It is because of my daily study of it and prayer concerning the truth of it that I know it to be truth. It teaches the doctrine of Christ in its entirety. It is because of the doctrines of the Savior, Jesus Christ, found in the Book of Mormon and within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church as a leader of a home evening group which gets together for only one day of the week. The reason we do this is just to encourage each other and get together to have fun with those who hold the same standards and beliefs as us! It's just a fun time!
