Hi I'm Alex

I grew up in Utah. I love to ballroom dance and sing. I'm in college, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I started ballroom dancing in high school, a little late, but I still love it. I'm currently in college working on an associates degree. I'm not settling for anything less than a masters degree, and right now my major is psychology but I'm considering changing it to geology. I also like to sing, only in the car or shower though. I am unmarried and I hope to go on a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family and got baptized when I was eight years old. I sort of lost my testimony in Jr. High, and didn't care very much about the gospel. Then I took a seminary class. There was one boy in that class who shared his insights and his testimony often, and his strength is what got me back on track. This boy has no idea who I am or the influence he had on my testimony but I owe it all to him. My little testimony arrived right in time because that semester my two best friends past away in a car accident. It was a very rough time for everyone who knew these two amazing girls. One was 17 and her sister was only 15. I could not have made it through those next few months without Jesus Christ. I did everything with these friends and suddenly they were gone, but Christ was there. I learned just how much I needed my Heavenly Father and just how infinite the atonement is. Christ not only suffered for our sins, but for our pains and afflictions as well. Every sorrow, every emotion felt during that time or any time in my life Christ also felt. My Savior is my best friend, without him I would be lost. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am the relief society chorister in my singles ward. I enjoy going to church activities. I also attend institute, and do my very best to live like Christ every day.
