Hi I'm Will

I'm from South Carolina, I love fishing and be outdoors. I'm serving in the Utah Ogden Mission, and I'm a Mormon!!!

About Me

I'm Will, I am a full time missionary in the Utah Ogden mission. Before, I came on a mission, I graduated high school, and worked a few jobs. I enjoy being outside. My favorite things to do are golf and fish. I love working on cars, driving, and riding just about anything with wheels.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is what I grew up believing, but then came to know for myself that it is true and is Christ's church restored back to the earth. When I was 16 I couldn't sleep one night. My mind was racing, and I couldn't collect my thoughts, so I decided to pray. I had the impression to open the scriptures, and read. I opened to a random page in The Book of Mormon, and read a little. After reading I felt I should pray again, I thought to myself it's time I put what everyone has been saying to the test. I asked to know if the Book of Mormon was true, and the word of God. I got a calm peaceful feeling, my mind settled, and I got the whispering of, "yes." That was all I needed. From then on I strived to do my best. Seeming to always come up short, it didn't matter, I knew that my savior Jesus Christ loved me and I am a child of our Heavenly Father. Knowing this and seeking guidance from the scriptures, has gotten me through the hardest times of my life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed me and my family in ways I never dreamed possible. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is Christ's church once again restored to the earth in it's fullest, that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, The Book of Mormon is true, and that our savior Jesus Christ Lives!

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving a full time mission the Utah Ogden Mission. I love sharing the gospel with others, and seeing others come unto Christ, and developing a closer relationship with their Father in Heaven. Before my mission, I did my best to go to church every week. I prayed every night, and set a goal to read a few verses every night. Being a teenager, with a lot going on, these didn't always happen, but I tried my best. My dad kept me on my toes by encouraging me to develope good habbits, and how to serve others with a Christlike attitude. My mom taught me the importance of loving others and how the scriptures influence our lives. I was never forced to do anything. I live my faith because of my own testimony, and relationship with Christ. My parents set me on the right path, I chose to contiue to follow my savior after.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Families are forever. I know this with all my heart. God doesn't want us to be seperated at death, he has provided us a way to remain together forever. I know that my family will be together forever, as long as we live up to our promises we've made with our Heavenly Father, and remain faithful throughout our lives. We can live together after this life for all eternity. Show more Show less
