Hi I'm Martha

I grew up in Utah. I'm a photographer, a chef, and a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an amateur photographer. I love yoga. I like to pretend that I can draw, but love looking at art. Making music makes me happy. My favorite thing to do is making delicious food for the people I love. I enjoy spending my time with my family, especially my nieces and nephews. But the most important thing is that I love being a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born and raised in the church, I had to decide for myself if it was something that I wanted in my life. When I was 14 years old, my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. This was hard for everyone in my family, especially her. However, that particular trial did not bring us down. I was able to see, through my mother and family, how the restored gospel of Jesus Christ can help you get through anything life throws at you. Seeing my family turn to God for comfort and strength made me want to follow their examples. The close relationship we individually developed with God and Jesus Christ made our family relationships stronger. We came together and helped each other. It was seeing that strength my family had because of the gospel that helped me know that I wanted that for my whole life. The relationships with my family, but most importantly my relationship with God helped me to become a strong and confident woman. I realized that I was a daughter of God, and He is on my side in everything I do. That is something everyone on this earth deserves to know: That God is their Heavenly Father. That He loves them perfectly. And that if we go to Him in faith, He will bless our lives and our families.

How I live my faith

Because I was able to see my family strengthened in the gospel, I wanted every family to have that! I decided to serve a mission for my church to help other families have what my family has. Being a missionary is so rewarding. I loving inviting others to come closer to their Savior, Jesus Christ.
