Hi I'm Zack

I just finished my MBA and I work in software. I'm a husband and a dad. I enjoy the beach, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my MBA and I'm having a great time living and learning. When I'm not studying I enjoy spending my time with my wife and 5 year-old son and our brand new baby boy! He was born in October, so we still aren't getting a lot of sleep, but when we have the time my wife and I enjoy sitting back and watching TV to relax... and more often than not we enjoy eating chocolate.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ! There is nothing else that answers the important questions of life better and more completely. Questions like Where do we come from? What is the purpose of life? What happens when we die? How can we be happy today? I love the feelings of peace, comfort and happiness that come from feeling the Holy Ghost and trying to help others to be happy. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only organization that has the promise and authority to join families for all time and eternity. I love my wife and son and am so grateful that I can strive to have them close forever.

How I live my faith

I try to do my best every day to be a better man and to help make others happy. At Church I have the privilege of working with boys 8-12 years-old as a leader of the Faith in God program. It is a program that helps boys set goals and learn to do service for their families. It teaches them important lessons about life and how to be kind to others. I also enjoy being able to help out when they need help taking care of the the babies 18 months to 3 years-old! They are so cute and lively and it is nice to give their parents a break so that they can enjoy their Church meetings.

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

Zack
We go to Church weekly to worship and to teach and serve one another. We have Sunday School lessons where different members of the congregation take turns preparing and teaching one another. Visitors are always welcome to attend the weekly church meetings. We attend the temple for special ordinances and worship services, like a marriage. We are encouraged to attend the temple as often as our circumstances allow. My wife and I try to make it once a month. Because of the special and sacred nature of the temple services, there are specific qualifications required of those who wish to attend. All are invited to qualify for temple services.
