Hi I'm Lisa

I have lived in Cailforinia, Michigan,Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I am a mother. I am a student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time wife mother and student. I am in nursing school right now working on my LPN. I have moved an average of every 2 years whole life. I love trying new things. I send as much time as I can with my wonderful daughter. I love reading, baking and caring for others. I have been married since 2004 to a wonderful man who does not share my faith.  I was raised in the LDS faith and served a full time mission in Idaho Pocatello. After being sent home due to illness I fell away from the LDS faith and follow the Pagan path. After praying for the first time in 3 years I found my way back on the path. I have been active since Oct 2010 and have never been happier.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Book of Mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet. I know that Jesus is the Christ. I know that the gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I have been a teacher in many different classes and ages ranging from 18 months to 100 year old. I plan the monthly meeting for the women ages 18 and older right now. I also get to visit a few other women every month to check in with them and share my knowledge of the gospel them.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Lisa
What more can I say? The Lord said give 10% so we give 10%. I know that when I pay my tithing I have always had everything I needed. Tithing is also how we help the church pay the bills to run the church like the lights and heat. Show more Show less
