Hi I'm Matt
I love baseball, snowboarding and hanging out at the beach. I'm a Mormon.
I am a 21 year old kid that loves to kick back and relax. O recently just returned from full-time missionary service for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the great Tennessee Nashville Mission! I love sharing the wonderful message that we have. My "normal" life consisted of being with my family and friends. Mostly my family though. I love em! Going to the beach with my brother and playing sports. I love the game of baseball. I am thankful to my God for all the great blessings he has given me that come because of His son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born into the Mormon faith and baptized when i was 8. Did that mean i completely knew that the church is true? Not at all. I had an idea that it was true but never really knew for myself if it was. That all changed when i decided to pray one day and asked God if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church that Christ himself set up while he was here on this earth. My answer came to me through the Holy Ghost and I recieved a witness that this is the only true church on the earth. I have had that testimony confirmed to me over and over again as I have lived the commandments that God has placed before us. I have also received a testimony that Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet on the earth just as the ancient prophets of old had been called. I know that he saw God the Father and Jesus Christ in that grove of trees. I know that through the power of translation the Book of Mormon was brought about. I know that it is the word of God. I know without a shadow of a doubt that this church, the "Mormon" church, is the true church of God and I invite everybody everywhere to read the Book of Mormon and find out for yourselves if it is true. Because if that is true than Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church of God.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by my life. The biggest impact we can ever have on anyone is to set an example for them. Actions truly speak louder than words!
